ATLANTA (AP) - A group of metro Atlanta officials will tour the city’s Beltline project with a focus on what it offers older adults.

The Atlanta Regional Commission’s Advisory Committee on Aging plans to use Tuesday’s tour to make recommendations to AAA about how urban planning can affect the lives of older adults.

The BeltLine, an ongoing effort to create a network of parks, trails and transit in the city, is among the largest redevelopment programs in the U.S.
