House Speaker John A. Boehner on Wednesday said that he doesn’t agree with the mounting calls for members of Congress to impeach President Obama.

Asked whether he agrees with Sarah Palin, the 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate and former Alaska governor, who said this week that enough is enough and that members of Congress should vote to impeach Mr. Obama, Mr. Boehner said, “I disagree.”

Mr. Boehner said he also disagrees with the members of his conference who share Mrs. Palin’s goal of ousting Mr. Obama from office before the end of his term.
