Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin issued a scathing assessment of President Obama’s handling of the tens of thousands of illegal immigrant children to cross onto American soil: It’s time to impeach.

“Without borders, there is no nation,” Mrs. Palin wrote in an exclusive piece for Breitbart. “Opening our borders to a flood of illegal immigrants is deliberate. This is his fundamental transformation of America.”

Mrs. Palin said that “because of Obama’s purposeful dereliction of duty, an untold number of illegal immigrants will kick off their shoes and come on in, competing against Americans for our jobs and limited public services. There is no end in sight, as our president prioritizes parties over doing the job he was hired by voters to do. Securing our borders is obviously fundamental here; it goes without saying that it is his job.”

The former vice presidential contender pointed to the dwindling revenues that are dragging down much of America’s services — from police forces to schools — and accused the “wealthy bipartisan elite” for joining with Mr. Obama in opening borders for perceived economic reasons.

It’s the “average American workers” who are “getting screwed,” she claimed, and now many “feel like strangers in their own land.”

“Who’s looking out for the American worker? Who has their backs? Who fights for them?” she wrote. “And on behalf of American workers and legal immigrants of all backgrounds, we should vehemently oppose any politician on the left or right who would hesitate in voting for articles of impeachment. … [If] he’s not impeachable, then no one is.”
