Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s newest venture, an online television broadcast, hit its first real snag when Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert dropped a bombshell and announced he bought up a domain name that mirrors the one used for her show.

Mrs. Palin’s online show is broadcast at SarahPalinChannel.com. Mr. Colbert’s new site is called TheSarahPalinChannel.com.

So far, Mr. Colbert’s new site only features a photo of Mrs. Palin and the accompanying text: “The only Sarah Palin Channel on the Internet with a definite article in the address!”

The Huffington Post reported the site also links to a previous broadcast of Mr. Colbert’s “The Report,” where he mocks Mrs. Palin’s description of Paul Revere’s famous ride.

TheSarahPalinChannel.com is free. Mrs. Palin’s SarahPalinChannel.com costs $9.95 a month, or $99 a year.
