The son of Hamas founder Sheikh Hassan Yousef railed against Hamas Wednesday, calling it a terrorist organization masquerading as a humanitarian one.

Appearing on Fox News’ “Hannity” Wednesday night, Mosab Hassan Yousef argued against Qatar’s claim to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi that “Hamas is a humanitarian organization.”

“Hamas is a terrorist organization with a humanitarian face to it,” Mr. Yousef argued, Newsbusters reported. “Basically, Hamas hijacked [the] so-called Palestinian cause to push their political and religious [and], most importantly, ideological agendas.

“Hamas does not care,” he continued. “If tomorrow Israel comes to Hamas and say[s], we [will] give you the 1967 borders, Hamas is not going to agree [to] that. Basically because they don’t have political boundaries to their ideology. They want to destroy the state of Israel. They want to destroy any country that does not believe in their ideology.”

Hamas leader Sheikh Hassan Yousef publicly disowned his son in 2010, days after Mosab announced he had worked undercover within the terrorist organization as a spy for Israel, The Associated Press reported at the time.
