A Washington-based conservative group is hailing Sen. Pat Roberts and his Republican primary foe for signing a pledge to fight for Obamacare’s repeal, according to wire reports.

The Associated Press reports Mr. Roberts followed suit after outspoken opponent Milton Wolf signed the pledge by the Independent Women’s Voice. The pledge calls on lawmakers to block funding for President Obama’s signature law, the Affordable Care Act.

Opposition to the law is a key part of the GOP playbook ahead of this year’s midterm elections, so it behooves Kansas’ GOP contenders to buttress their anti-Obamacare bona fides ahead of their Aug. 5 primary.
