Conservative talk show giant Rush Limbaugh unleashed some harsh criticism against the mainstream media — sparked by a CNN headline — during his recent radio show, outright jabbing that the world of news is pretty much dead.

The context of his statement came from a CNN headline that flashed on his television screen that read: “GOP Wants to Impeach Obama,” The Blaze reported.

“I was watching CNN this morning — well, I don’t watch CNN; it’s on, and I happened to glance up a moment, and I saw a headline, ’GOP Wants to Impeach Obama.’ I looked at that, and I said, ’No, no, that headline is a lie.’ So I turned on the sound. And that headline went with a story about Obama trying to goad the GOP into impeaching him,” Mr. Limbaugh said, The Blaze reported. “The graphic, the headline on screen, said nothing about Obama. It just said, ’GOP Wants to Impeach Obama.’”

Mr. Limbaugh then opined that the notion of the GOP-driven effort to impeach President Obama is one that’s driven by the media, to ensure Republicans “get creamed by it even if they do nothing,” he said, The Blaze reported.

“It’s a strategy,” Mr. Limbaugh said. “There is no journalism anymore, don’t forget. There’s only advocacy and support for the Democrat agenda, disguised as the news.”
