Oregon police are on the prowl for the vandal, or group of vandals, responsible for smearing numerous Hillsboro-based vehicles with doughnuts, other pastries and chocolate cars.

Dozens of such incidents have been reported, some by those who have suffered more than once at the hands of the vandals, ABC News reported.

“I’m close to putting up surveillance cameras,” said Carl Davis, whose car has been hit twice with chocolate bars, local KATU reported. “If it happens again, I probably will.”

Police think the vandals have been either buying or stealing the tools of their crime from local pastry stores. And the vandalism’s no joke; the frosting on the doughnuts can harden and ruin a vehicle’s paint job, ABC News reported.
