Joy Behar, co-host of “The View,” took a potshot at Sarah Palin, disdaining the idea of the former Alaska governor serving as the newest member of the mid-morning show panel as ridiculous.

“Shouldn’t Sarah Palin be turning letters over on some game show at this point? Why is she even relevant?” Ms. Behar said, US Weekly first reported.

Mrs. Palin has been talked up as the newest members of the panel — though Nikke Finke reported on NikkeFinke.com that Mrs. Palin has been campaigning for best-selling author and radio host Tammy Bruce to get the job, Breitbart reported.

Ms. Behar’s reaction to the talk of Mrs. Palin isn’t that unusual. She once famously referred to a female candidate for a Republican Party office in derogatory terms, before claiming the woman would “go to hell” for one of her campaign commercials, Breitbart reported.
