Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told his Israeli ground troops on Friday to get ready for more missions into Gaza — that a “significant expansion” of force is on the way.

He also said the main goal of his military would be to destroy tunnels that were dug by Hamas to gain entrance into Israel, Fox News reported.

Mr. Netanyahu’s announcement came just a few hours after Israeli’s defense hit at more than 100 sites in the Gaza Strip with ground troops and tanks.

The Israel Defense Forces put out a tweet: “Overnight, we neutralized 14 terrorists, destroyed 20 rocket launchers, carried out 9 strikes on tunnels & hit a total of 103 terror targets.”

Israel has called up 48,000 reserve soldiers and just Thursday, the Cabinet gave the go-ahead for the military to activate another 18,000.
