A Waffle House in Norcross, Ga., has jumped aboard the World Cup bandwagon, telling diners in a Twitter post that they ought to boycott Belgian waffles — a directive aimed at supporting America’s soccer team as it takes on Belgium on Tuesday.

The loser of the knock-out game will head home, with the victor advancing.

Waffle House — an all-American chain —sent out a tweet in support of Team USA: “We don’t believe in Belgium waffles.”

A Waffle House official, meanwhile, explained further to TMZ: “We support a boycott on Belgian waffles. We support America. We don’t support Belgian waffles.”
