Ralph Lauren’s niece was charged with being drunk, offensive behavior and breaching the peace on a New York-bound flight, causing it to be rerouted to Shannon Airport in the west of Ireland.

Jennifer Lauren, a 41-year-old jewelry designer, appeared before Killaloe District Court in Ireland Tuesday morning where her attorney indicated she would enter a plea to all three charges, which relate to the Air Navigation and Transport Act 1973, the Belfast Telegraph reported.

The incident occurred on Delta Airlines flight DL477 from Barcelona to New York on Monday, the report said. Miss Lauren was arrested by Shannon authorities after the plane landed at 1:47 p.m. and taken to Shannon Garda Station, where she was met by with a representative of the US embassy in Ireland, The Telegraph said.

She was released on $3,400 bail and ordered to surrender her passport.
