A 310-foot crop circle in California wasn’t the work of aliens after all — it was tech company Nvidia Corp, and it was all for publicity.

The crop circle near Chualar was actually an image of a computer chip and the number 192 in Braille. Why 192? The company just announced a new chip, the Tegra K1, for tablets and smartphones that has 192 computing cores, the Associated Press reported.

Company CEO Jen-Hsun Huang said that the crop circle was drawn in preview of the International Consumer Electronics Show as a budget-conscious promotional tool, AP reported.
