LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming basketball coach Larry Shyatt will miss coaching a second game in as many weeks because of illness.
The university announced Friday that Shyatt will not coach the Cowboys home game Saturday against Utah State.
It says Shyatt had a reoccurrence of a viral illness and doctors recommended he take a few days off from coaching.
Shyatt was forced to miss Wyoming’s road game at Air Force on Jan. 22 due to the same viral condition. He returned to coach games last Saturday and this past Wednesday.
Assistant coach Jeremy Shyatt, who is Shyatt’s oldest son, will coach the Cowboys game against Utah State.
