NEW LONDON, Conn. (AP) - Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London and a union representing nursing and technical workers say they have a tentative agreement in a labor dispute that led to a lockout last fall.

The hospital and the union said Friday a ratification vote is scheduled next week by the two locals of AFT Connecticut representing registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and health technology workers.

The joint announcement said no details are being released until after Monday’s vote, but said the deal covers issues currently before the National Labor Relations Board and new collective bargaining agreements. The vote will be conducted from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

About 800 union workers held a four-day strike beginning Nov. 27 and were locked out when they tried to return. The hospital ended the lockout Dec. 19.
