University of Georgia in Athens to reopen Thursday

ATHENS, Ga. (AP) - The University of Georgia is slowly returning to a normal schedule after this week’s snow and ice storm.

School officials said in a statement that the Athens campus will open at 11 a.m. Thursday for faculty, staff and students.

The university was among several that cancelled classes after Tuesday’s snow and ice storm.
