OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Omaha Public Schools says it will reassign nearly 30 administration employees to schools that need help on issues like attendance, discipline and family services.
The Omaha World-Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1fmTZES ) many employees in the Student and Family Services department will be affected by the move.
Omaha Public Schools Superintendent Mark Evans says in a news release that the restructuring did not involve any layoffs, though some reassigned employees may look for jobs elsewhere. School assignments will be finalized in the coming weeks.
The district also plans to create four executive directors to help supervise principals at its 86 schools.
