MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - In a story Jan. 29 about a hazing arrest, The Associated Press, relying on information from the Morgantown Police Department, reported erroneously that Michael William Sousa, 21, of Point Pleasant Beach, N.J., was charged with hazing and battery. The police department said Sousa was charged only with hazing, and that he was erroneously listed as being charged with battery during processing.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - A second West Virginia University student faces charges following an investigation of hazing at a fraternity.
The Morgantown Police Department said Wednesday that 21-year-old Michael William Sousa of Point Pleasant Beach, N.J., is charged with hazing.
Police received information that a 19-year-old male was injured and physically assaulted while participating in an initiation at the Phi Kappa Phi fraternity on Nov. 15, 2013.
Police say Sousa was arrested on Friday.
Another student, 21-year-old Andrew Nemes of Huntington Beach, Calif., was charged on Dec. 17, 2013, with battery and hazing.
