RICHLAND, Wash. (AP) - Raising the minimum wage for federal contractors to $10.10 an hour as President Obama announced will apparently have little effect on contractors at the Hanford nuclear reservation.

The Tri-City Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1k7v9us) few Hanford workers make less than that now. For example, receptionist wages start at $12.83 an hour, grounds maintenance wages start at $12.77 and word processor wages start at $15.07.
