OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - Gov. Jay Inslee is going to the Super Bowl.

Inslee’s office said Wednesday that the Seattle Seahawks had ticket allocations for elected officials and that Inslee paid for the tickets for himself and his wife, Trudi, to attend Sunday’s game between the Denver Broncos and Seahawks at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

Spokesman David Postman said he didn’t know how much the governor paid, but said that he “bought the cheapest ones that were available.” Inslee leaves Saturday and will be staying with friends in the area, and will return to the state on Monday, Postman said.
