ACCRA, Ghana (AP) - The Ghana Football Association says the Black Stars will play the Netherlands in a pre-World Cup friendly in Rotterdam on May 31.

GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi says it will be “the tough test we need ahead of the World Cup.”

Ghana made the quarterfinals in South Africa four years ago, equaling the best performance by an African team. It will play Germany, Portugal and the United States in a tough Group G in Brazil.

The Netherlands lost to Spain in the 2010 final and will face the world champion again in Group B, along with Chile and Australia.

Ghana also travels to Montenegro during its preparations. The Dutch have other games against France, Ecuador and Wales before opening their World Cup against Spain.
