It is too bad that Sen. Charles E. Schumer of New York, his fellow Democrats and the mainstream media are going after the people in the Tea Party and others who have opinions different from those of the Obama administration.

Tea Party members are legal citizens who want and advocate small government and debt down payment. They were against Obamacare, and they do not want illegals to be given a pathway to citizenship.

Mr. Schumer and others like him want to silence the new politicians speaking out on a lot of President Obama’s policies. Mr. Schumer; Sen. John McCain, Arizona Republican; Sen. Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat; and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, are set in their ways. Our government is for the people, not the politicians. We all have seen that the Obamacare website wasn’t ready to be used by people, and that law itself is failing to do what it set out to do. In fact, the very people the act was supposed to help are not even signing up for the exchanges. The Tea Party simply wants the government to start listening to the people it represents.

Memo to the Obama administration: When you have a website created, make sure it is actually working before you have it go live.
