STILLWATER, Minn. (AP) - Stillwater officials say organizers of the city’s new summer music festival can keep the name “Stillwater Log Jam.”

Last week, City Administrator Larry Hansen emailed the festival’s organizer to ask that she consider changing the name, saying it could be consider vulgar.

But the St. Paul Pioneer Press (https://bit.ly/L4dNSl ) reports the city withdrew that request Monday.

Stillwater Mayor Ken Harycki says he changed his mind after realizing that any name could have a sexual connotation.

Festival organizer Cassie McLemore says she’s pleased by the city’s decision. She says the organizers are committed to producing a family-friendly festival that highlights Stillwater’s history.
