NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - The Red Sox are bringing their World Series trophies to Yale Law School.

Yale says team president and CEO Larry Lucchino has arranged for trophies and some members of the Red Sox team to visit Yale Law School at 1:30 p.m. Monday. Boston’s victory over the St. Louis Cardinals last year was its third championship in 10 years.

Lucchino is a 1971 graduate of Yale Law School.

Players confirmed for the visit include Red Sox pitcher Craig Breslow and catcher Ryan Lavornway, both of whom are former Yale baseball players. Red Sox announcer Rick Flavin and team mascot Wally the Green Monster also plan to attend.

The event is not open to the public.
