MADISON, Wis. (AP) - President Barack Obama plans to spend the night in Milwaukee on Wednesday and then tour General Electric’s gas engine facility in Waukesha on Thursday.

The visit is part of a four-state tour the president is making following his State of the Union speech on Tuesday.

The White House released details of his Wisconsin stop on Monday. His comments at the GE plant are to focus on the economy but are closed to the public.

Obama also plans stops in Maryland and the Pittsburgh area Wednesday and the Nashville area Thursday.
