NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Passenger traffic at Norfolk International Airport declined by more than 5 percent in 2013.
The Virginian-Pilot (https://bit.ly/1ggebfk ) reports that the airport saw 3,112,255 million passengers in 2013. Air cargo fell by 17.5 percent to about 58 million pounds.
Passenger traffic improved in December but the increase wasn’t enough to offset the year’s decline. The airport reported 271,534 passengers, up 1.6 percent from December 2012.
Air cargo declined in Deecmeber by nearly 19 percent to about 5 million pounds.
