Rep. Steve Stockman, who’s running against Sen. John Cornyn for his seat and hasn’t been seen in almost three weeks, may have just been located in London following a brief stay in Russia.

In a text message to Breitbart, Mr. Stockman, a Texas Republican, wrote: “I am on a bipartisan codel [congressional delegation]. I’m on foreign affairs. Part of my work.”

He also reportedly said he was in London, Mediaite reported. And that’s after he was reportedly traveling to Russia for a meeting with President Vladimir Putin, ahead of his congressional delegation. Mr. Stockman wouldn’t confirm his trip to Russia.

But the congressman’s disappearance from Capitol Hill has been a weeks-long mystery.

He’s missed 15 roll call votes since Jan. 9 — and he’s not held any campaign events, either, Breitbart reported. Members of the media who have tried to contact the congressman, or get information from staff on his whereabouts, have been met with silence from his office, Mediaite reported.
