SAPPORO, Japan (AP) - Jernej Damjan won a ski jump World Cup event on Sunday, leading a sweep of the podium for Slovenia.

Damjan had jumps of 138 and 134 meters for a total of 255 points to claim his first World Cup title of the season.

Peter Prevc, who leads the overall World Cup standings, was second with 254.4 points after jumps of 124 and 137.5 meters. Robert Kranjec was third after jumps of 126 and 137 earned him 253.3 points.

Prevc widened his lead in the overall World Cup standings and now has 812 points, 91 points ahead of Kamil Stoch of Poland, who did not make the trip to Japan.

The next event in Willingen, Germany Feb. 1-2 is the last before the Sochi Olympics.
