LAS VEGAS (AP) - Canada reached only its second Cup semifinal, joining defending USA Sevens champions South Africa, New Zealand and Samoa in the final four at the IRB Sevens World Series rugby event in Las Vegas.

Canada came from 14-0 behind Saturday to beat France 17-14 and will face series leaders New Zealand after the All Blacks Sevens proved too strong for England, winning 24-7 at the Sam Boyd Stadium.

South Africa, which won its home event in the last round, has conceded just seven points in four matches so far and beat Argentina 36-0 in its quarterfinal. South Africa will face Samoa in a match-up between the only two sides to have won the title in Las Vegas.

The semifinals and final are Sunday.
