PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - After a week of frigid weather, baseball fans in Maine are getting an opportunity to dream of summer as the Red Sox bring their 2013 World Series trophy to the Portland Sea Dogs’ Hadlock field.

The Red Sox are holding a rally at 11 a.m. featuring former Sen. George Mitchell and Dick Flavin, the Fenway Park public address announcer. Afterward, all three World Series trophies will be available for viewing.

The 2013 Red Sox World Series roster featured 17 players that played for the Sea Dogs including two players that started the season in Portland - Brandon Workman and Xander Bogaerts.

Portland’s opening day will be on April 10.
