CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - The Wyoming Highway Patrol says troopers seized nearly 100 pounds of marijuana and a quarter pound of methamphetamine during three unrelated traffic stops in the past several days.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1dYtDuT ) the drugs were seized in Uinta County near Evanston on Interstate 80, and the marijuana alone has a street value of nearly $600,000. Patrol Sgt. Stephen Townsend says the pot came from California, and investigators believe it was not destined for Wyoming.

Six people were arrested on felony charges stemming from the drug seizures. Each was charged with possession of a controlled substance in plant form, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and conspiracy to commit delivery of a controlled substance.
