LLOYD, N.Y. (AP) - An early morning shooting outside an Ulster County nightclub prompted a pursuit that ended with more gunfire - this time from police.
New York State Police say two people were wounded in the initial gunfire at 4 a.m. Saturday outside the Home Dance Club in the Town of Lloyd.
Another person was wounded when officers fired a shot after stopping a car that appeared to be fleeing the scene.
None of the injuries were life-threatening.
The State Police didn’t release details on either shooting, but said officers from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Department and the Lloyd Police Department encountered resistance from the occupants of the car.
Police did not identify the victims or name any suspects.
Police said two illegal firearms were confiscated from the car.
