VALENCIA, Spain (AP) - Valencia says Chile forward Eduardo Vargas will join on loan from Napoli until the end of the season.
Valencia says the deal will go through once Vargas passes a medical exam with team doctors.
The 24-year-old Vargas says he is “very proud that a club as important as Valencia is interested in me.”
Valencia was recently taken over by coach Juan Pizzi. Currently in ninth place, it is 15 points from fourth place and Spain’s last Champions League spot.
