The classic cookie milk dunker, Oreo, has unveiled a couple new flavors — but don’t delay. The company said it’s only keeping them on shelves for a couple months.
Marshmallow Crispy “is reminiscent of a Rice Krispie Treat, with vanilla-flavored sandwich cookies and sweet cream spotted with crisped rice,” tasters with the New York Daily News reported. And the new cookie-dough flavor reminds of a “chicken stuffed with eggs,” reviewers at the Los Angeles Times reported — whatever that means.
Several at Time took the taste test, too, and said that while the new cookies are pretty good, they don’t stack up at all to the classic Oreo. The cookie dough doesn’t truly taste like cookie dough, they said, and even had hints of coffee or caramel.
The Marshmallow Crispy, meanwhile, actually had a few haters — though most who liked it said it mirrored the flavor of the Rice Krispie Treat pretty well, Newser reported.
Fox News said the new flavors will be on sale on Feb. 3, but only for a brief six- to eight-week period.
