MENOMONIE, Wis. (AP) - Police are investigating the death of a University of Wisconsin-Stout student found dead in her off-campus home in Menomonie.

The university says 23-year-old Jesse Jensen of Owen was found dead in her bedroom by a roommate Wednesday.

The school says Menomonie police are investigating but do not suspect foul play.

In a statement Thursday, UW-Stout Chancellor Charles Sorensen called Jensen a “very promising young woman” and offered condolences and support to her friends and family.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press (https://bit.ly/1au0jvG ) reports Jensen was a senior majoring in industrial design with a minor in business administration.
