MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Republican Sen. Richard Shelby is scheduled to meet with employees at a water heater company to talk about the ways federal policies impact job creation.
Officials say Shelby is scheduled to visit Rheem Water Heaters in Montgomery as part of his statewide jobs and industry tour Thursday afternoon. The stop is Shelby’s 25th in the tour, and he plans to visit businesses in each of Alabama’s 67 counties.
In a statement, Shelby says conversations with constituents factor into the way he votes on issues and he looks forward to traveling throughout the state again this year.
