Fox News host Sean Hannity will be attending President Obama’s upcoming State of the Union address as Rep. Louie Gohmert’s guest.

Mr. Gohmert, a Texas Republican, has often appeared as a guest on Mr. Hannity’s show and even filled in for the host on a few occasions, the Dallas Morning News reported.

Mr. Hannity told a viewer on Tuesday that he would seriously consider running for political office.

“The answer is yes, I’d think about it,” he said. “It would either be in Texas or Florida.”

The comments come after Mr. Hannity indicated he planned to flee New York after Gov. Andrew Cuomo said “extreme” conservatives “have no place” in the state.

The Morning News also reported that Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Texas, has invited Chad Henderson, a former Obama volunteer who lied about signing up for ObamaCare.

“I look forward to giving Chad the opportunity to attend the State of the Union Address. Now when President Obama speaks about ObamaCare, the media will have someone they can cut to,” Mr. Stockman said in a statement. “I encourage the President to acknowledge him and his story.”
