NORTHWOODS, Mo. (AP) - A posting on Facebook is the apparent cause of a shooting in St. Louis County that led to a police pursuit, ending in an accident in St. Louis city.

KSDK-TV (https://on.ksdk.com/LYePAL ) reports that three women and a man showed up Wednesday at a home in Northwoods and began shooting, apparently over a Facebook posting from September. No one was hurt in the shooting but suspects fled in two vehicles. A man and a woman left in a pickup truck, and the other two women left separately.

Officers chased both vehicles into the city. The truck crashed and the man and woman were taken into custody. Police are still searching for the other two women.

Authorities have not said what it was about the Facebook posting that prompted the encounter.
