JUSTIN BIEBER ARRESTED ON DUI, DRAG RACING CHARGES

Pop star Justin Bieber walked out of jail Thursday following his arrest earlier in the day in Miami Beach on charges including driving under the influence and resisting arrest. Bieber was arrested after police said they saw him speeding down a residential street in Miami Beach in a yellow Lamborghini. Officers say he had an expired license, was initially not cooperative when he was pulled over and smelled of alcohol.

FLORIDA MAN FACES PRISON IN SEAN TAYLOR SLAYING

A Florida man who prosecutors say fired the fatal shot in the 2007 killing of Washington Redskins star Sean Taylor has been sentenced to more than 57 years in prison. Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Dennis Murphy imposed the sentence Thursday on 23-year-old Eric Rivera Jr., who was convicted in November of second-degree murder and armed burglary. Rivera had faced a maximum life sentence.

UNIVERSAL TO DOUBLE SIZE OF HARRY POTTER

Universal Orlando Resort is doubling the park space devoted to Harry Potter with its new Diagon Alley attraction opening this summer. But the Diagon Alley location will require tickets to two theme parks if guests want to see both the new and original Harry Potter areas.

LATINO GROUPS TO LAUNCH MASSIVE VOTER REGISTRATION

Two national Latino organizations are kicking off a massive voter registration campaign ahead of the 2014 elections. National Council of La Raza and Mi Familia Vota Education Fund are set to announce the campaign Thursday to register more than 250,000 voters. In 2012, the two groups registered nearly 200,000 voters.

FLORIDA BRACES FOR MORE COLD WEATHER

Temperatures across large parts of Florida are expected to dip overnight Thursday and into Friday morning. Overnight lows were expected to plummet into the mid-20s in north Florida for a second night.
