MASON CITY, Iowa (AP) - A 50-year-old Clear Lake woman has been accused of stealing from her employer in Mason City.
The Mason City Globe Gazette says (https://bit.ly/1bhTd84 ) Devon Roberts is charged with three felonies, including theft.
The Cerro Gordo County sheriff’s department says Roberts deposited checks totaling more than $10,000 into her account. The checks that had been written to Arise Energy Partners Inc.
A jailer said Roberts remained in Cerro Gordo County Jail on Wednesday, pending $25,000 bail. Online court records don’t list the name of her attorney.
