NEW YORK (AP) - Mayor Bill de Blasio says “no one was treated differently” when it comes to snow cleanup.

De Blasio said Wednesday in response to some residents’ complaints that New York City has a “five-borough approach” to everything it does.

De Blasio says anyone who says otherwise is being disrespectful to the men and women who work for the Sanitation Department.

Heavy traffic ground to a halt for hours on snow-packed streets Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Street vendor Dame Gueye (dam geye) said Wednesday there’s still snow and ice on the streets in his Harlem neighborhood.

He’s withholding judgment for now. But Gueye says if conditions are still difficult there on Thursday, he won’t hesitate to tell you what he thinks about it.
