COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Lawmakers and business leaders are discussing issues affecting business in South Carolina.

The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce is holding its Business Speaks session on Wednesday in Columbia.

The annual event includes business leaders and lawmakers in a town hall meeting discussing such things as infrastructure needs, the state’s workforce, tax reform and energy.

During the session the chamber is also outlining its competitiveness agenda for the new legislative session.

The chamber is also honoring 30 lawmakers with its business advocate award.
