MILWAUKEE (AP) - The state Department of Natural Resources plans to offer its annual free ice fishing clinics for children in southeastern Wisconsin next month.
The agency along with a number of partners including the Wisconsin Council of Sport Fishing Organizations and Milwaukee County will run the 45-minute clinics at park ponds and lagoons in Milwaukee and Waukesha counties throughout the day on Feb. 8.
Participants will work on how to properly use their equipment, tying knots and safety. Equipment and snacks will be provided.
A list of clinic locations is available on the DNR’s website.
