DRUMMOND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Another round of frigid air has made its way into Michigan, with temperatures dropping to double-digits below zero in some northern parts of the state.

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather warning for much of Michigan. It reports readings Tuesday morning of 25 below zero on Drummond Island. It’s in Chippewa County’s Drummond Township in Lake Huron, east of the Upper Peninsula.

The weather service says the low hit minus 24 at Pellston in northern Lower Michigan, 1 above at Flint and 4 above at Detroit Metropolitan Airport.

Temperatures at 1 p.m. EST ranged from 14 at South Haven in southwestern Michigan to minus 7 on Drummond Island.
