CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - An Evansville man has pleaded guilty to charges of second-degree murder and 10 other felonies in the fatal shooting of another man last summer outside an Evansville bar.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1dtIHKy ) that 21-year-old Samuel Renner entered the guilty pleas Tuesday before District Judge Thomas Sullins.

Prosecutors originally had charged Renner with first-degree murder and other charges in connection with the July 25 shooting of 41-year-old Todd Callies of Casper.

Assistant District Attorney Dan Itzen says the state will seek sentences of 60 years to life on the Renner’s convictions of second-degree murder and second-degree attempted murder.
