TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) - The Arizona Cardinals have signed punter Dave Zastudil to a two-year contract.

Terms of the deal were not released.

Zastudil, who joined the Cardinals in 2011, is coming off the two best seasons of his career.

In 2013, he averaged 45.7 yards per kick and tied Kansas City’s Dustin Colquitt for the NFL lead with 35 punts inside the 20-yard line. He set an NFL record with 46 punts inside the 20 in 2012 and had a 46.5-yard average.

Zastudil’s career average of 45.8 is the highest in Cardinals history.

A fourth-round pick by Baltimore, Zastudil has averaged 43.7 yards per kick during a 12-year NFL career.
