NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP) - Northwestern State University’s practitioner teacher program will be available online beginning with the summer term.
University officials say the program offers an alternate certification pathway to teaching.
The program is designed for individuals who already have completed an undergraduate degree and want to be certified to teach.
Participants typically are individuals interested in making a career change by becoming teachers, as well as those hired with temporary authority to teach who are seeking certification.
