WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) - Evander Kane is back in the Winnipeg Jets’ lineup.
The left winger has been out since Jan. 7 when he injured his hand in a fight during Winnipeg’s 4-2 home loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning. Kane will play in the Jets’ upcoming road games against the Anaheim Ducks and San Jose Sharks.
Kane missed four games, including the last three wins under new coach Paul Maurice.
Kane’s father will also be on the trip, along with other dads as the team hosts a father-son trip.
Maurice says Kane will skate on a line with Mark Scheifele and Blake Wheeler.
Although he’s missed 12 games to injury this season, Kane still has 14 goals and 11 assists.
