MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) - Australia captain Pat Rafter has named three teenagers in his team for the Davis Cup clash with France later this month - Australia’s first fixture in the top-tier World Group since 2007.

Veterans Lleyton Hewitt and doubles specialist Chris Guccione head the Australian lineup but, in the absence of Bernard Tomic who has a hip injury, Rafter has called up 18-year-old Nick Kyrgios, 17-year-old Thanasi Kokkinakis and 19-year-old Jordan Thompson.

Australia will start massive underdogs at La Roche-sur-Yon in western France from Jan. 31 to Feb. 2 against a French team that includes Jo-Wilfired Tsonga, Richard Gasquet and Gael Monfils.
