Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has big plans for the future of the federal government, citing one of her three New Year’s resolutions to bring the power back to the hands of the people.

She said on the Fox News broadcast, All-American New Year, that making “government as irrelevant as possible” was one of her top goals for 2014. And more specifically, she said she wanted to achieve that reality by empowering the little guy, and putting the reins of government back into the hands of the people, Breitbart.com reported.

Her other two resolutions?

To eat more meat, Breitbart reported. And to live the tenets of deceased UCLA coach John “the Wizard of Westwood” Wooden’s “Pyramid of Success” program.

That program is what basically gives individuals their own feelings of power and “industriousness,” which contribute to the notion of American exceptionalism, she said.
